1. About FindWorker
FindWorker is a marketplace. We connect customers with independent verified workers; we are not the employer of those workers, nor do we directly perform the services. Workers operate as independent contractors. They set their own bids (within fair-pricing rules), use their own tools, and are responsible for the quality of their work.
FindWorker provides the platform: identity verification, dispatch, GPS tracking, payment escrow for online payments, dispute resolution, and standards enforcement (cancellation rates, ratings, conduct rules).
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use FindWorker.
- You must hold a valid Pakistani Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) to register as a worker.
- One CNIC, one account. Duplicate accounts are blocked at signup and existing duplicates are flagged for admin review.
- You must provide accurate information. Providing false KYC data is grounds for permanent suspension.
3. Your account
- Accounts are created with a phone number and OTP — there are no passwords.
- You are responsible for keeping your phone secure. Anyone with access to your phone and OTP can use your account.
- If you lose your phone or change your number, contact us immediately at hello@findworker.pk.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app. Some records (transactions, dispute history) are retained for legal and accounting reasons — see our Privacy Policy.
4. How bookings work
4.1 Customer bookings
- You describe the job, set a time, and (depending on category) either accept a fixed-rate price or receive up to 3 transparent bids from verified nearby workers.
- Once you accept a worker's offer, an in-app chat opens between you and the worker. GPS tracking begins.
- You can cancel within the first 3 minutes of acceptance for free. After that, the cancellation fee schedule below applies.
4.2 Worker assignments
- The dispatch algorithm scores workers on proximity, quality, fairness, and tier. Newcomers always receive jobs — they are never permanently behind senior workers.
- Workers must respond to offers within 10 minutes. Repeated unresponsiveness affects the worker's response-rate score.
- Workers must accept always-on GPS permission to go online and receive jobs.
5. Pricing and payments
- All prices in PKR, inclusive. No fees appear at checkout that were not shown at order placement.
- Materials are quoted on-site and approved by you before purchase. Receipts are mandatory for materials above PKR 500. The final bill cannot exceed the approved quote without a documented scope change you confirm in-app.
- Surge pricing applies during low-supply hours (1.25× or 1.5× depending on availability). Surge multipliers are shown before you confirm, never applied after the fact.
- After-hours surcharge (8:01 PM – 7:59 AM) is +30% for plumbing, electrical, and AC services.
- Visit / inspection fee (Type B services) is PKR 300, fully credited toward the bill if you proceed with the work. If you decline after inspection, PKR 240 is paid to the worker and PKR 60 is retained by the platform.
- Payment methods at launch: cash on completion, JazzCash, or Easypaisa. Card payments arrive in Phase 2.
- Online payments are held in authorisation from order confirmation. The actual charge is taken only after you confirm the job is complete.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel any booking. Whether a fee applies depends on how late you cancel:
- Within 3 minutes of accepting — free, no questions.
- Before the worker departs — small flat fee (PKR 75 to PKR 200 depending on category).
- Worker en route — 25–35% of the order value, with a minimum.
- Worker arrived — 50–70% of the order value.
- Scheduled bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the slot — PKR 100 to PKR 300 depending on category.
If a worker no-shows, you receive a full refund + PKR 100 platform credit, automatically. We check GPS first — genuine emergencies are excused for the worker. Deliberate no-shows hit the worker's cancellation rate immediately.
Specific rates per category, and Ladies-Salon-specific rules including bridal services, are detailed in your in-app booking flow before you confirm.
7. Disputes
- Disputes can be opened within 24 hours of job completion. After that, the booking is permanently closed.
- Each dispute requires a reason code and a minimum 30-character description. Blank disputes are rejected.
- Payment is frozen pending dispute resolution. Admin reviews GPS history, chat transcripts, photos, and payment records.
- Decisions are made within 24 hours. You may file one appeal within 24 hours of the decision; the senior-admin decision on appeal is final.
- The Resolution Fund covers up to PKR 1,500 per booking when the worker is at fault but their wallet is empty.
- More than 3 disputes filed in 30 days triggers an abuse-flag review on the filer's account.
8. Conduct rules
Both customers and workers agree to these rules:
- No harassment, abuse, or discrimination — verbal or otherwise. Confirmed cases result in account suspension.
- No off-platform contact exchange. Sharing phone numbers, social handles, or arranging future direct work in chat is a violation. We can detect this in chat (best-effort) and we expect both sides to respect it. 3 detected violations = account suspended.
- Workers must provide service safely. Photos before any electrical / switchboard work. Customer in-app confirmation required for circuit shutdowns.
- Customers must allow safe access to the work area, with a responsible adult present.
- No alcohol, no intoxication. Either party arriving impaired is grounds for immediate cancellation and account review.
9. Platform fees (workers)
- Workers pay a platform fee on each completed job, deducted from their wallet. The fee depends on the worker's tier and category — ranging from 7% (Elite) to 22% (Newcomer Ladies Salon).
- Every worker's first 20 jobs in a category are 0% platform fee (varies by category, set in
FINDWORKER_RULES_v3.md). Jobs 21–23 are 50% of the tier rate (soft landing). Jobs 24+ are the full tier rate. - Fee is shown on every earnings screen, including during the free period (so workers know what's coming).
- GST (18%) applies to the platform fee — not to the worker's service charge.
- Materials are excluded from the platform-fee calculation.
- Payouts are made every Sunday for balances above PKR 1,000. Elite tier receives twice-weekly payouts.
10. Ratings and reviews
- Ratings are mutual: customers rate workers (publicly), workers rate customers (visible to future workers only).
- Ratings unlock only after GPS-verified job completion — both parties at the same location for at least 10 minutes.
- A worker's first 5 reviews are hidden from public profile (Newcomer protection). They still count toward internal score and tier eligibility.
- 3× one-star reviews with no text trigger an abuse-flag review.
- Submitting fake reviews (bots, friend networks) is grounds for permanent suspension.
11. Intellectual property
- The FindWorker name, logo, app, and website are the property of Tectonix. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them commercially without written permission.
- Photos you upload (job photos, profile photos) remain your property; you grant us a limited licence to display them within the platform for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
FindWorker provides the marketplace; the workers perform the services. To the fullest extent permitted by Pakistani law:
- The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties beyond those stated explicitly in these Terms.
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime — though we work hard to provide it. We do communicate proactively during incidents.
- We are not liable for the quality of the actual work performed, beyond the platform's role in matching, tracking, payment, and dispute resolution.
- Pre-launch: any specific feature mentioned on the marketing site is subject to change before launch (May 2026). The launch app is the source of truth.
13. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the platform is limited to the total fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or PKR 50,000, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Pakistani law (e.g. liability for fraud or wilful misconduct).
14. Suspension and termination
- You can stop using the platform at any time. You can delete your account from the app.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, our conduct rules, or if you provide false KYC data.
- For serious violations (fraud, theft, harassment), suspension is immediate. For pattern violations (high cancellation rate, repeated late arrivals), we use a graduated approach: warning → visibility reduction → admin review → suspension.
- Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred before termination (outstanding payments, dispute resolutions).
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through our internal dispute process is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes are notified in-app and to your registered phone or email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use FindWorker after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) are deployed immediately and reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
